Meet Molly

Founder & Lead Teacher

Hi, I’m Molly, founder and lead teacher at Hidden Meadow School. Born and raised in Olympia, I’ve spent the past 15 years dedicated to supporting young children and their families as they navigate early learning and the public school system.

I hold a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and dual endorsements in Special Education and Elementary Education from Western Washington University. My teaching journey has taken me from classrooms in rural Kenya to the Tumwater School District, where I’ve spent the majority of my career in K–3 special education.

I’ve been married for 10 years to my best friend, who has also dedicated his career to working with children with autism as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Together, we’re raising two awesome children—Stella, age 7, and Quincy, age 1.5.

Molly's Family

As a self-proclaimed outdoor enthusiast, I want to teach my own children the value in a more mindful co-existence with the natural world around us. When we’re not busy with all the tasks of life we love to spend time exploring nature as a family.

Creating Hidden Meadow School is the realization of a dream that began when we purchased our property in 2020. A beautiful 16-acres along Henderson Inlet in the North Thurston School District. Our home is shared with forest trails, creeks, ponds, meadows, a garden, greenhouse, orchard, chickens, ducks and even some wildlife—offering endless opportunities for children to learn!

I am deeply committed to creating a school environment that embraces all children and families. I believe diversity matters, and I strive to foster a space where every child feels valued, seen, and celebrated for who they are.

I’m so excited to bring this vision to life and honored to guide and grow with your child in this next chapter of learning.
